PEER MEDIATION
Peer mediation is a process in which students with a problem work together assisted by an impartial third person who encourages and helps the students resolve the dispute. It is a conflict resolution strategy designed to help disputants reach a win-win agreement. Peer Mediation teaches students to see conflict as a part of everyday life and as an opportunity to grow and learn. It can also help reduce violence, vandalism, absenteeism and the number of discipline referrals. Peer Mediation reduces the time that teachers and administrators deal with discipline. It is a life skill that empowers students to solve their own problems through improved communication, problem solving, and critical thinking. Peer Mediation promotes understanding of individuals and groups throughout the school community.

WORKPLACE MEDIATION
The value of mediation in resolving workplace and employment disputes is being increasingly recognized. Good relations in the workplace between colleagues, management and staff, and work based teams are all essential for an effective and productive business. Disputes between employees, and between employees and employers, can be soul destroying for all concerned, leading to low morale, decreased motivation, and poor work performance. It is not unusual for unresolved disputes and grievances to lead to absence from work for staff involved. Workplace Mediation provides a formal channel to resolve disputes, to the satisfaction of all parties, without imposing an overbearing strain on an organization's financial resources.  We are experienced at mediating a wide variety of disputes, including issues between and within: employees or groups of employees, project teams, their managers and contractors, employees and employers.  We offer workplace mediators across the US and can respond quickly to mediation requests.

In fact, we believe this process adds to patients' rights. Mediation requires the doctor and patient to meet with a mediator to discuss the dispute. Mediation has been proven to be highly effective in resolving problems.

ELDER CARE MEDIATION
Elder Mediators are familiar with issues such as independence, safety, comfort and well-being and often mediate arguments over accepting caregivers in the home, giving up the car keys, moving from the family home, estate and guardianship matters, and much more. By teaching families how to communicate respectfully and effectively, and how to listen, issues that have often been swept under the carpet for years can safely emerge for discussion such as distorted family history, sibling favoritism, medical questions, and financial issues including wills and trusts.
